Satyanandashram Hellas
Satyanandashram Hellas is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1978 by Swami Sivamurti Saraswati, yoga acharya (master of yoga). Australian born, she brought Satyananda Yoga to Greece upon following her guru, Swami Satyananda’s directions.

Satyanandashram Hellas combines a residential yoga ashram just out of Paiania and three Satyananda Yoga centers, one in central Athens, one in the township of Paiania and the other in Thessaloniki. It is also the only training center for a national network of independent Satyananda Yoga centers and teachers.

Bihar Yoga Bharati, India

Satyanandashram Hellas is associated with the Bihar Yoga Bharati (Institute of advanced studies in yogic sciences).
The association’s aim is the spreading of , a scientifically proven method of Yoga, in Greece, as well as assisting the philanthropic work of Satyananda Math.
It supports and unites all people regardless of age, race, gender, class or creed. Being part of an international Satyananda Yoga family, it welcomes people from all over the world. 
The association is largely run by volunteers in the spirit of karma yoga (efficiency in action) and seva yoga (offering one’s time and energy for the benefit of others). It has been providing services in Greece for over 30 years and has helped thousands of people to discover for themselves the timeless value of yogic practices. All contributions and donations from the members go towards the running expenses, meeting the aims and objectives of the association and supporting the philanthropic work of Satyananda Math.

Activities of Satyananda Math 
Satyananda Math is a project of Satyanandashram and aims to offer a helping hand to those who find themselves in less fortunate circumstances. At home, it does this either directly or through collaborating with social services and other institutions. It also offers free Satyananda Yoga classes to various social organizations.  In India, Satyananda Math supports the aims of Sivanananda Math.

Satyanandashram is a non-profit organization and receives no government funding. Programs and activities are open to members. Contributions and donations cover the running costs and go towards the philanthropic work of Satyananda Math to assist those in need. Contributions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Programs are subject to change without notice. Booking is essential to secure your place.
